About Merryl

Merryl is straightforward. She was shocked by a spider last night, and blow it away.The spider is so pitiful.

Her husband calls her pool bear which makes her feels herself is more fat. She said she doesn't like him call her that. Then her husband laughs at her another disadvantage-she is short. When he got mad he will say "you are short so you can't think straight"...

The hairdresser in China can't satisfy her because they will dye her hair orange but she only wants her hair to be a little brighter. So she has no cut or dye. Her husband can't wait to have her hair cut now.

I like her teaching style. Especially when she showed us the little monster on one of her shoulders, the little monster always says something upset her and prevents her from challenging herself, but on the other side, another one says"believe yourself". That's very interesting. Many of us have these two sides. I think what she wants us to know is "just do it".

I got 40 out of 40 for my first report which makes me a bit surprised. I made so many grammer mistakes. So what she focuses on is not English  itself but the content-what do you learn from her course and how do you apply them to your daily life to deal with your relationships with your roommates, parents, boyfriends of girlfriends, etc.

In a word, I strongly recommend you to select her courses-Interpersonal Communication(maybe she will offer another course called conversational sth, I didn't catch her then) if you have the opportunity. You will learn something very useful.
